Mexico is more than just beaches and resorts. Truth be told, if that is all you know of Mexico, then you haven’t really ever been there. Go off the beaten path to lesser visited, authentic Mexico. Sometimes polished, sometimes gritty, always rich in culture and history. Learn about how the indigenous and colonial Europe cultures combined into the beautiful tapestry that is modern Mexico. From politics to religion, every aspect of Mexican culture is a result of this interwoven fabric of history. It is said there are two Mexicos, the modern Mexico of the growing middle-class and upper class mostly found in the urban areas; and the more austere Mexico of those spend their days just trying to survive in the more rural and remote areas. We’ll introduce you to both, giving you time visit museums, shop, dine, and explore as well as time to work side by side in a small community on a project designed to have a lasting impact both in the community and your soul.
